The embassy in london is tendering a contract to put carpets and possibly other furnishings.(29 august 2011).
The contract might be worth 10s of thousands of pounds to a successfull applicant.

Desert blooming Demonstration Centre,Aqaba,Jordan
I understand that a demonstration centre might be built by the Norway-based Sahara forest project to be built near Aqaba.
The centre(if built) will demonstrate technologies with the potential to make desert areas into fertile areas,producing food,water and electricity etc
Site(if built) could contain pipes(polyethylene,piping seawater),solar power mirrors,greenhouses,collectors,grid evaporators,heat collectorers,turbine generators etc
Should such a project go ahead,they could be opportunities for winning contracts and subcontracts.
